Overview
Through a variety of artistic techniques such as painting, mixed media, decoupage, textured art, photography, and creative crafts, participants are encouraged to express themselves, reduce stress, and discover new talents. No previous artistic experience is required—only a willingness to explore, create, and connect.
The Challenge
Many women are interested in learning crochet but feel that it is difficult, time-consuming, or requires prior experience. The challenge was to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where beginners could easily understand the basic techniques, stay motivated, and complete a handmade project with confidence. The workshop also aimed to encourage creativity, patience, and social interaction while reducing stress through a relaxing artistic activity.
Design Process
To help participants overcome the fear of learning a new craft by providing simple, step-by-step crochet techniques that build confidence, creativity, and well-being in a fun and supportive environment.
Final Result
They developed new creative and practical skills while improving concentration, patience, and fine motor coordination. The workshop enhanced self-confidence through the satisfaction of creating unique handmade pieces. Participants experienced relaxation and stress reduction through the therapeutic benefits
